1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you access or use the SaudiScore mobile app, website, and related services (together, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use SaudiScore.

2. About SaudiScore

SaudiScore is an independent football scores and information service created and operated as an individual hobby project.

SaudiScore provides football-related information and features that may include live scores, fixtures, results, standings, statistics, lineups, match events, team and competition information, football news, favourites, notifications, and AI-generated football summaries.

3. Football Information Is Informational

Football data can change quickly. Scores, match clocks, lineups, injuries, standings, statistics, schedules and other information may be delayed, incomplete, corrected or unavailable.

SaudiScore does not guarantee that football information is always accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted. Official competition, club or governing-body sources should be used when official confirmation is required.

SaudiScore is not a betting or gambling service. Information provided through SaudiScore should not be relied on as betting, financial or other professional advice.

4. Anonymous Accounts, Favourites and Notifications

Some app features use an anonymous Firebase account. SaudiScore does not require you to create an account using a name, email address or password.

You are responsible for choosing which teams, competitions, matches and notifications you follow. Push notifications depend on third-party delivery systems, internet connectivity, device settings and data availability, so delivery time and availability cannot be guaranteed.

Website match favourites are stored locally in your browser and are not currently synced to an account. Some app preferences may also be stored only on your device and may be lost if app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.

5. My Brief and AI-Generated Content

The SaudiScore app may provide AI-generated football summaries through My Brief. These summaries are generated from football-related information and may contain mistakes, omissions or outdated information.

AI-generated content is provided for general information only and is not an official statement from any player, club, league, competition or governing body.

6. Third-Party Services and Content

SaudiScore relies on third-party services and data providers to operate parts of the Service. These may include Google Firebase, OpenAI, API-Football / API-Sports, news publishers, hosting providers and other technical services.

Third-party content, websites and services are governed by their own terms and policies. SaudiScore is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security or practices of third-party services.

News headlines, images, excerpts and linked articles may originate from third-party publishers. Rights in that material remain with the relevant publishers or rights holders.

7. Intellectual Property

The SaudiScore name, SaudiScore branding, original interface design, original graphics and software created for SaudiScore are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Club names, competition names, badges, logos, player images, trademarks and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in SaudiScore does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation unless explicitly stated.

8. Acceptable Use

You may use SaudiScore for lawful personal use. You must not:

• attempt to interfere with, overload, disrupt or damage the Service;
• attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, App Check, security controls or access restrictions;
• reverse engineer or extract private credentials, source code or protected backend functionality except where applicable law expressly allows it;
• use automated systems to scrape, copy or harvest the Service at scale without permission;
• use SaudiScore or its branding in a misleading, unlawful or infringing way; or
• use the Service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

9. Availability and Changes to the Service

SaudiScore may add, change, suspend or remove features, competitions, data sources or parts of the Service at any time. Maintenance, provider outages, football-data availability, technical issues or other circumstances may temporarily affect the Service.

We do not promise that every competition, team, player, article, notification or feature will always be available.

10. No Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SaudiScore is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of football or AI-generated content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SaudiScore and its operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Service.

This includes, for example, loss caused by delayed or incorrect scores, missing notifications, unavailable data, third-party content, AI-generated summaries or service interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

12. Suspension or Restriction

Access to the Service may be limited or blocked where reasonably necessary to protect SaudiScore, its infrastructure, its providers or other users, including in response to abuse, automated scraping, attempts to bypass security controls or unlawful use.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information SaudiScore processes, what is stored locally or through Firebase, how My Brief uses AI services, and how to contact us about privacy requests.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when SaudiScore, its features, providers or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were most recently revised.

If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate.

15. Applicable Rights

These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer or statutory rights that apply to you. Any provisions that cannot be enforced under applicable law will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary, while the remaining provisions continue to apply.
